Full-length television shows and films from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's archives are soon going to be available to watch on YouTube.
The deal is hoped to boost advertising revenue for MGM, which has already done deals with Microsoft for Xbox Live and with Apple bringing its content to iTunes.
Reuters broke the story and there hasn't been an official announcement as yet, but we do know that the launch of the partnership with be marked by the availability of episodes of MGM's decade-old "American Gladiators" program to YouTube.
There will also be an MGM channel where full length movies will be shown including "Bulletproof Monk" and "The Magnificent Seven" as well as clips from the likes of "Legally Blonde".
These will be free to watch, with ads running alongside the video.
