Toshiba has launched four new REGZA LCD TVs to kick start its 2007 launches.
The new REGZA C series according to Toshiba reproduces three times more pixels and four times more colour tones than conventional LCD TVs to create dramatic, lifelike pictures.
Further picture enhancement is promised through dynamic contrast ratios ranging from 3500:1 to an impressive 5000:1, delivering supposedly bright whites and enhanced, extra-rich dark detail by actively controlling the LCD panel backlight.
Toshiba has also included SRS WOW audio technology delivered via a slim, discreet speaker system running along the bottom of the screen.
Following the popular design of previous REGZA models, the C Series boasts an ultra-narrow, black matt frame around the screen and the series is available in 26, 32, 37 and 42in screen sizes.
Each of the models in this range includes an integrated digital Freeview tuner to offer access to over 40 television channels and 20 radio stations out of the box. Each screen also features extensive connectivity including two HDMI sockets – ideal for connecting HD DVD players, next-generation games consoles and High Definition TV receivers - component video interface and two SCART inputs.
