Sky has done a deal with - which is a new comedy website, which already has the backing of Little Britain duo - Matt Lucas and David Walliams.

The deal will see selected content from Funnyordie on Sky's own websites, including "exclusive preview clips of Little Britain USA", says Media Week.

US comedians Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy created offering access to both professionally made content and user generated content from comedy fans.

Registered users can set up a profile, watch other visitors' videos and vote on what they think is funny and what's not.

The UK site will offer some of the same content as the US website but also add specific content for the British audience.

Carly Crouse, director of content at Sky's online business unit, said the addition of content, combined with its own expanding portfolio of sites, "means that we can offer users one of the richest choices of online content on the web", pointing to deals with other third parties delivering new motoring, travel, movie and music content.
