How to watch them in 4K Ultra HD

All of the matches will be shown in Ultra HD on Sky Q 2TB boxes. If you don't have a Sky Q 2TB box you won't be able to watch them in 4K.

You will, however, still be able to watch them in HD on Sky Sports Action or Sky Sports Mix for non-Sky Sports subscribers.

If you do have the 2TB Sky Q box, you need to go to Sky Sports Action and either choose the Ultra HD presentation when prompted or press the central action button on the remote to bring up the on-screen programme guide and click again to choose Ultra HD.

How to watch them online

If you don't have a Sky subscription but want to watch the matches online, on a mobile device or on a smart TV you can get Sky Sports through Sky's Now TV service.

There are three Now TV paid packages that are available without contract. Prices are below.

The only limitation is that the quality of the video streams is at maximum 720p, but there are Now TV apps for many devices, including games consoles. And you don't have to continue to subscribe to Sky Sports after the rugby is finished if you don't want to.

Alternatively, if you do already subscribe to Sky and Sky Sports, you can watch the Sky Sports Action channel through either the Sky Q or Sky Go applications for Android or iOS.

What package do you need?

To watch the matches in 4K on Sky Sports, you will need to subscribe to the Sky Sports HD pack from £22 per month (or a single-channel pack that includes Sky Sports Action from £18 per month).

To watch them without a Sky Sports package, you can't get 4K but you can see it on Sky Sports Mix in SD or HD with just a normal Sky subscription.

To watch them through the Now TV app or online, you need a Now TV Sky Sports Pass. These are available for £7.99 for a Day Pass, £12.99 for a Week Pass, or as a Month Pass, which usually costs £33.99 per month.

However, there is a great offer on Now TV at the moment where you can get a Sky Sports Month Pass for £20 per month for four months.

Sky Sports Action is also available on Virgin Media, but not in 4K.
