Sky News has launched its own Catch Up TV service on the Sky On Demand platform.

Sky+HD customers who have their set-top-boxes hooked up to a broadband connection can choose to watch current and recent stories on demand. Some Sky News applications allow you to watch selected stories on devices such as Apple TV, but Sky News on Catch Up TV will present news features and analysis too.

In addition, special programming, such as Week in Review, Entertainment Week and technology show Swipe will be available to watch whenever you choose too.

Sky News will also be offering access to news events from the last 25 years in The Vault. A series of specially commissioned news features and documentaries will be available.

"Sky News is committed to developing the ways in which customers can watch its content," said John Ryley, head of Sky News.

"Sky News on Catch Up TV offers Sky customers the chance to curate the news how they want it at a time when we are producing an increasing amount of high quality features."
