Sky customers will start to get the new Sky+ EPG from today. The new homepage packages different elements of the Sky TV service together as tiles, with the channel listings now an accessible section alongside Catch Up TV, the Sky+ Planner, Sky Store and an area dedicated to the broadcaster's TV Box Sets on demand.

Other new icons on the homepage include a New Series section, which enables you to search all of the latest series premiering across all channels, satellite and terrestrial.

There is also immediate access offered to Sky Movies On Demand and a Best of On Demand section. This latter area is a curated list of the best shows and movies available to watch instantly.

Sky is also refreshing its Sky+ app to reflect the changes. It will also add a button to turn on and off a Sky+HD box from a mobile or tablet.

Some customers will get the the new homepage and EPG today. Sky promises that it will be available to all customers with compatible boxes by the end of May.
