Samsung launches HT-X200R series home theatre systems

Samsung Electronics has launched a new range of Home Theatre Systems, the HT-X200R series that includes the Samsung HT-X250R and the Samsung HT-X200R.
The HT-X250R features the same glossy piano black finish as the full-HD upscaling HT-TXQ120, also launched today, which complements Samsung's latest LCD and plasma ranges.
This set up has been designed to best fit into your lounge - the design allows the main body of the unit to be placed vertically or horizontally.
The Samsung HT-X250R is a 5.1 channel system that boasts 600 watts of power. It can upscale DVDs to 1080i and with the optional extra SWA-3000 can give you a wireless rear speaker.
The Samsung HT-X250R also incorporates a USB Host for flash dives and boasts DVD audio compatibility, and playback
from a range of formats which include MP3, WMA, Divx and JPEG Disc.
It has Anynet+ built-in that lets you link up of Samsung DVD's, TV's and Home Theatre Systems with one remote control.
The HT-X200R is pretty much the same but offers a more modest 2.1 channel system with 300 watts of power that Samsung claims is simple to set up and use.
The Samsung HT-X200R Series is on sale now, priced at £349 and £399.
