Netflix has added all 13 episodes of the Eli Roth produced Hemlock Grove to its video streaming service.

Like the US remake of House of Cards, Lilyhammer and the soon-to-air new season of Arrested Development, Hemlock Grove is a Netflix exclusive, which further reinforces its stake to become a valid competitor to paid linear TV.

Eli Roth is best known for directing Cabin Fever and the “torture porn” classics Hostel and Hostel: Part II. He also starred in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. And it has been said that this new Netflix series happily fits into his portfolio. If you’re no fan of gore, you might want to give it a miss.

The show stars Famke Janssen (GoldenEye, X-Men) and Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård. It’s based around the brutal murder of a teenage girl and the hunt for the killer, revealing dark secrets about the townsfolk along the way. Think Twin Peaks with werewolves and rivers of blood.

You can watch the 13 episodes on Netflix now, including the Roth-directed series opener titled Jellyfish in the Sky.
