The first part of the final season of award-winning TV series Breaking Bad will be available on Netflix UK & Ireland from 1 November.
It means the UK and Ireland will be the first regions to have access to the series finale from Netflix, even before the US – though the show has already debuted on other outlets.
The series sees former science teacher turn drug dealer Walter White - played by Emmy-award winner Bryan Cranston - reach new lows as his criminal and family life intertwine, spiralling out of control in the process.
Season 5 of Breaking Bad is to be split into two parts, each consisting of eight episodes. From 1 November, only the first eight episodes will be available to watch on Netflix UK & Ireland, with the final episodes not due to be shown on television until 2013.
Breaking Bad has proved a roaring success for Netflix, with streaming figures continuing to increase with the arrival of each series.
Netflix UK & Ireland is available for £5.99 a month, though the company does offer a one-month trial period free of charge.
