At CES in Las Vegas LG has announced that it will be adopting a host of new technologies.

From wireless HD to 3D television the company is hoping to ride out the economic downturn with new features to lure consumers to part with their cash.

Claiming that women don't like wires, LG has said that it will be offering a television with a built in wireless receiver.

The company is also developing a 3D chipset to be integrated into its televisions which will feature a number of different 3D technologies in an attempt to future proof itself from new and upcoming content.

Elsewhere LG has confirmed that it has caught up with Sony and Samsung by offering 240Hz motionblur and a host of Yahoo Widgets.

New products will include 36 televisions, two standalone Blu-ray players and three Blu-ray home cinema systems.
