(Pocket-lint) - Hisense showed off a pair of new, brand-new ULED models here at CES 2020 and we got a tour of the Hisense booth to check them out.

Both sets were on show alongside the new 4K HDR LED model set to make up part of the manufacturer’s UK TV line up. All three sets will be released in the Spring

The flagship model is the UHD Premium U8QFTUK Quantum Dot TV features Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision in addition to Full Array Local Dimming. Audio is provided by renowned sound specialist JBL with a subtle soundbar underneath the bottom of the screen.

It’s joined by the similar U7QFTUK ULED model which again is Quantum Dot but has a reduced spec sheet. Both ULED models are available in 55 and 65-inch versions.

As for the 4K HDR LED TV it’ll be known in the UK as the A7500FTUK and will come with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos as well as Ultra Motion technology for smooth sport, while there’s also compatibility with Amazon Alexa. Again these TVs are available in 65 and 55-inch sizes.

We’ll know the prices of these new models in the run-up to launch – the model numbers will probably stay the same though even though Hisense indicated they could change before launch.

Hisense is anticipating a busy year as it seeks to further improve its brand awareness in the UK – it’ll be one of the key sponsors of the upcoming UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, several games of which are being held in London. Hisense previously sponsored UEFA Euro 2016 in France and the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The company told Pocket-lint it was unlikely the company would launch a special edition TV for this year’s tournament – as it did for the World Cup in 2018 – but that it would have promotions around the time of the tournament.
