Google has released an iPhone app for its Google TV, allowing users of the service to control their set top box with a smartphone.
Although the app has been available on Android since December, the search engine has released the Apple-friendly version in order to entice in more users.
The new app is now available for any iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch running iOS 3 or higher.
While the images show plenty of ways to get confused in which button to press, you’ll be able to have the app find your favourite shows and movies just by speaking into your phone.
Google has so far struggled in the US to convince consumers or the industry to jump on board its Google TV offering. A promised roll out for the UK has yet to happen.
The app is free and available to download now.
