Denon has released another DVD player with upscaling, the DVD-1930, which is one of the company's more affordable products at £250.

It promises upscaling support up to 1080p through its HDMI connection. Separate circuit boards process analogue and digital signals, while 24bit 192kHz audio DACs yield excellent sound quality.

For those of you that understand this sort of thing, other features include HDMI Black Enhancer, multichannel digital audio transfer with HDMI Bass management, PAL Progressive Scan via Component Video outputs to improve picture quality, and 2MB Buffer Memory.

It supports a variety of CDs and DVDs, and is available in black or silver.
