The BBC has launched a beta service that sees live TV and radio streamed to mobile phones.

Available at this stage just to a range of Wi-Fi-enabled mobile phones, the Beeb says it is working on a version to work over 3G, as well as for more handsets.

The BBC TV channels now available for live mobile streaming are BBC one, two, three and four, as well as CBBC, CBeebies, BBC News and BBC Parliament.

The radio stations are are Radio one, one Extra, two, three, four, six, and seven and the BBC Asian Network.

If you fancy a go make sure your paperwork is in order - as the BBC is at great pains to point out, you must have a full colour TV licence to use the service.
