Twitter now available on Samsung TVs
Samsung has announced that Twitter will soon be available on its Internet@TV service and usable on the company's LED 6000, 7000 and 8000 series televisions and 6 and 7 series LCD televisions.
As previously reported on Pocket-lint, Internet@TV taps into the Yahoo! widget engine for stock info, weather, news and other internet services, appearing as a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen and now it seems Twitter, which will allow users to tweet along to their favourite programmes as they watch them.
Already UK TV shows such as The Apprentice and Question Time are heavily twitted as the shows air with many complaining that the twitterverse is full of spoilers.
Although LG and Toshiba will also be bringing out widget TVs later in the year, Samsung says that it has an exclusive in the UK for 6 months.
