Hannspree has detailed a couple of new TVs - although sadly these sets aren't shaped like animals or sports equipment. But they are LED models, and they are affordable.

The Hannspree SV range includes the SV32 and SV42 which are, you guessed it, 32- and 42-inch versions of the same model.

With the SV range, you're not going to get the web TV features, or DLNA connectivity that is common place with a lot of LED sets hitting the market, but at £419.99 and £549.99 respectively, you're getting a TV with a pretty decent specification and a budget friendly price.

This spec includes Hannspree’s exclusive Vivid Motion 100Hz technology, Full HD 1080p resolution, a 450cd/m2 brightness, a contrast ratio of 4,750,000:1 (X-Contrast), a response time of 6.5ms, 178 degree/178 degree viewing angles and two 10W speakers.

Port wise you've got composite, component, three HDMI 1.3s, a VGA and a USB for playing back MPG3, JPEG, and other video files.

The Hannspree SV32 and Hannspree SV42 are both available now, and you can grab one from Ebuyer or the Hannspree flagship store at the Westfield shopping centre.
