In an attempt to bridge the gap between your phone and your notebook, Toshiba has now bashed out an Android 2.1 smartbook in the form of the Toshiba AC100, which we've managed to get hands-on with the device.

The Toshiba AC100 features a modified version of Android 2.1, running via a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 250 Mobile Processor. It's got a 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600, LED backlit display and is just 14mm thick at its thinnest point.

It also comes with Nvidia's special mobile chip, giving an impressive 8 hours battery life.

3G, Wi-Fi and an HDMI socket are all included as well as a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Scroll down, take a look and make sure you let us know what you think in the comments below.
