Three has declared its iPad 2 ambitions, releasing a statement saying that it will offer "iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G and also dedicated data plans for iPad 2 in the coming weeks".

Now, whilst it's not clear whether this means discounted iPad 2s when signing up for contracts, it probably does, as that is the case with Three's original iPad offerings (which are going cheaper than ever at the moment).

Whatever the actual deals turn out to be, it's bound to be good news for fanboys as Three has consistently undercut its rivals with regards to iDevice prices and has been going all out with its unlimited data plan objectives as of late as well.

We'll let you know when Three, and all the other UK networks too, come clean with actual pricing details for the second-generation iPad, so be sure to keep checking back on Pocket-lint for updates.
