Sony has made the 10.1-inch Xperia Z2 Tablet available on its website in the UK, after announcing it at Mobile World Congress 2014 in February.

The next-generation tablet is priced at £399 ($660) for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version, £449 for the 32GB Wi-Fi only version, and £499 for the 16GB LTE version, the latter of which is currently only available as pre-order. Right now the other two variants of the tablet are only available for purchase on the web, but will be available soon in-stores, Sony tells Pocket-lint.

There's also a range of accessories available for the Xperia Z2 Tablet, including a slim Bluetooth keyboard and stand case available for £39 ($64), as well as compatibility with the PS3 DualShock controller for gaming.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a 10.1-inch TFT display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, Adreno 330 graphics, 8.1-megapixel camera, 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera, a waterproof and dust-resistant build, and front-firing S-Force Surround Sound speakers.

Sony claims it's the thinnest and lightest waterproof tablet in the world, at 6.4mm thick and at only 426g weight.
