Samsung rumoured to be releasing a whopping 12-inch tablet this October

Samsung led the way with big phones and it looks like it may do the same with tablets - with Apple following close behind, again.
While smaller tablets are growing in popularity - tablets themselves may be about to grow literally. While the Nexus 7, iPad Mini and Galaxy Note 8.0 are great for portability, Samsung reckons that what people want is larger screen sizes.
According to industry sources, the Korea Economic Daily claims Samsung is planning to unveil its 12-incher in October. Toshiba announced a 13-inch tablet in June and Apple is reportedly looking into larger slates too.
Samsung's largest current tablet offering are the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 for Android and the 11.6-inch ATIV Smart PC Pro.
At the moment this larger Sammy slate is rumoured to be 12.2-inch and to sport the same screen resolution as Google's Nexus 10. But with Panasonic's 20-inch 4K tablet already out there we’re holding out hope for a super hi-res Sammy screen.
