Microsoft didn't livestream its Surface event in New York City this morning, though we were live to cover all the latest product announcements from the company. That said, video of the event is now live, which should please diehards who wanted to see everything unfold with their own eyes.

Microsoft had its own camera crew filming the entire launch event, and that footage is now available on the Surface newsroom webpage. The video is just over an hour long, but you'll hear everything Microsoft had to say and more about the Surface 2, Surface Pro and new Surface accessories.

Panos Panay, Microsoft's corporate vice president and Surface boss, led the keynote, showing off his kids, wife and humour while demonstrating the Windows 8.1 tablets and preloaded apps. The show started and ended without a glitch, but check it out for yourself rather than take our word for it.
