Microsoft has announced the pricing for the Pro version of its Surface tablet, the Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro.

Available in January 2013, the new Surface with Windows 8 Pro will be available in two versions. A 64GB model will cost $899, while a 128GB model will cost $999 in the US.

Both versions will include a Surface pen with Palm Block technology but won't come bundled with either the Touch Cover or the Type Cover - the two bolt-on keyboards.
