(Pocket-lint) - In need of a barrage of HP TouchPad news? Well, come on in, you've come to the right place as we've a trio of webOS-based newsage to share.

First up, most excitingly, is the news that a 7-inch version of the Palm-powered tab could be coming our way.

It seems that the codenamed HP TouchPad Opal may be coming to life as the HP TouchPad Go. The new name and size-spec was uncovered with some digging around by members of the webOSroundup forum from a FCC filing. The TouchPad go will apparently come in four flavours: 16 and 32GB models, 3G or Wi-Fi only.

Next up is news of a cut in price for the original 9.7-incher. Over in the US the price of the 16GB Wi-Fi device will now be $399.99 and the 32GB one $499.99.

Here in the UK the price is currently £399 for the 16GB and £499 for the 32GB one, so we'd expect prices to fall to around £349 and £449.

Thirdly, there's also news that the souped up TouchPad 4G has gone a knocking at the FCC's door. The AT&T bound tablet boasts a nippier processor - up 0.3GHz to 1.5GHz - and should now be nearing a release.
