Even with the Nexus 5 now official, the leaks don't stop for Google. The company updated its Android website over the weekend with KitKat information, but in typical Google fashion, may have revealed an unannounced product in the process.

The "A Library that goes with you" section of the website shows a woman holding an Android tablet that has never been seen before. We have scanned just about every Android tablet we can think of, and it isn't ringing any bells. The web has put its thinking cap on and is speculating the tablet shown in the picture is an 8-inch one, thanks to its slim bezels and one-hand design.

Of course, it's not easy to guess a device's screen size just from a picture - so your guess is as good as ours. Nonetheless, it would make sense for Google to fill the gap between the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 in pursuit of taking marketshare away from Apple's iPad mini. It doesn't seem likely Google would update the Nexus 7 already - that was just done - so it leaves us to believe we're looking at a new product entirely.

Google has still to take the wraps off an anticipated Nexus 10 tablet, which was expected to come with the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat. Could Google be preparing to release the "Nexus 8" along with its 10-inch tablet? Of course, this could have just been a silly marketing screw-up, but it's fun to speculate. We'll be keeping a close eye, nonetheless.
