The Asus tablet with Wacom Stylus has been rumoured and leaked, with the Asus press conference passing without any mention. Now Asus has announced it does exist and is coming soon.

The Asus VivoTab Note 8 is an 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet that comes with a Wacom Digitizer Sylus with 1000 levels of pressure sensitivity. The Stylus slides into the holder at the bottom of the tablet for quick access.

The VivoTab Note 8 is powered by a Bay Trail Intel Atom Z3740 processor and backed by 2GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of memory and expands a further 64GB with microSD. You'll get 8 hours on a charge according to Asus and it can used be easily one-handed, thanks to the thin bezel.

The Asus Golden Ear team uses SonicMaster audio technology for the perfect hardware and software blend of sound. Asus says the VivoTab 8 offers: "Sound quality to a level far above what you might expect."

The Asus VivoTab Note 8 will be on sale in February for £300.
