iOS 6 now on 200 million devices, and they like apps

Apple is expected to unveil a host of new products at its "Special Event" in San Jose, California, at 6pm UK time (10am PDT) and Pocket-lint is in the California Theatre waiting, preparing to report live on each and every one of them.

First, we should finally get to see the long-awaited 7.85-inch iPad mini, which has been the worst-kept secret in the industry really. Then there's the 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display - a laptop that's been much anticipated since the 15-incher came out earlier this year.

A new, thinner iMac is rumoured to be on the cards too, along with the official release date of iTunes 11, the latest version of Apple's entertainment hub.

Some are even expecting a new iPad refresh, taking the current tablet and giving it global 4G compatibility so that it can work on EE's new UK LTE network to be launched on 31 October. And some are even predicting a new Apple Mac mini for good measure.

We'll certainly have our hands-full reporting on all this Apple goodness, so sit back, stay with us and let us bring you all the action as it happens.
