The iPad mini could arrive in 24 different versions at its grand unveil on 23 October, according to a leaked SKU.

9to5Mac has posted the listing on its website, which refers to four different models as P101, P103, P105 and P107. Each of these four variants is then referred to as “Good,” Better,” and “Best”, which 9to5Mac believes refers to the storage capacity.

In addition, each model is marked with an “A” and “B” to signify the colour, presumably white and black, bringing the total up to 24.

This is the second iPad mini SKU leak to emerge this week, following a list of prices attributed to the device surfacing from a sales inventory system in Germany

Despite reports to the contrary, this previous leak suggests that we will be seeing both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi and cellular versions of the iPad mini, which may also help explain the large number of models listed in this latest reveal.

Of course another explanation is that some of the models may refer to a rumoured new version of the iPad 3, which will update the device to include Apple’s new Lightning connector as seen in the iPhone 5

With Apple officially sending out invites for its 23 October event, there’s plenty to be getting excited about, including the possibility of a new thinner iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro, new Mac mini and of course the iPad mini.

All 24 of them.
