The entry level iPad could cost £389 in the UK according to an unnamed source talking to an unheard of gadget website.

One to put in the "still not confirmed" box, website Geeky Gadgets, is claiming its source, who is someone who works closely with Apple in the UK, as saying:

"16GB WiFi iPad will be available for £389, the 32GB WiFi model will be available for £439 and the 64GB WiFi model will be available for £489".

"The 16GB Wi Fi iPad will retail for $499 in the US which works out £326 at todays exchange rate, the 32GB WiFi iPad is $599 in the US which works out £392, and the 64GB WiFi iPad is $699 in the US which works out at £457 using todays exchange rate".

The site is also claiming that the shipping date is likely to be April rather than the currently suggested March.
