ViewSonic has officially confirmed what we exclusively told you last month – that it is launching a 7-inch Honeycomb tablet in the near future, as well as announcing the launch of the ViewPad 10Pro.

The new ViewSonic ViewPad 7x is a 7-inch Honeycomb tablet uses the NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 2 processor and promises users HSPA+ while the ViewPad 10Pro is the world’s first dual-OS tablet that has both Windows 7 Professional and Android. It is also one of the first tablets to use the latest Intel Oak Trail processor. The new Intel processor is powerful, yet offers amazing power savings which delivers the perfect combination of Windows technology in a mobile touch screen device.

The ViewPad 7x will weigh 380g, come with front and back cameras, and feature a 10-point multi-touch. It will come with HDMI port, DLNA, and SRW TruMedia.

The ViewPad 10Pro will let you switch between the two OSes without turning off the tablet.

No official word as yet as to when the devices will be released or whether they will be coming to the UK, however sources have previously told Pocket-lint that the ViewPad 7x will be available sometime over the summer.
