What to expect from the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ launch

Sadly, as part of a rolling launch, there might not be many surprises at this event. Having previously launched the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro, it's the top model we're expecting - the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ - hence all the talk of the "ultimate smartphone".

That model has already launched in a couple of markets, including China and India, although there may be some changes, because sometimes Xiaomi changes the names in some regions or the specs in another. That might see the addition of 120W charging to this 6.67-inch device.

What is currently not clear is what hardware it will offer. The global model of the Redmi Note 11 Pro has Snapdragon 695, so it might use that, or it could shift to higher-level MediaTek hardware.

Besides this model of phone, we're also told there will be other additions to the Redmi family. All will be revealed on 29 March.
