Hot on the heels of the reveal of the Logitech G Gaming Handheld we now have another gaming handheld being unleashed on the world.

During this year's Razercon, Razer revealed what had already been teased by Qualcomm and Verizon during Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas in September.

The Razer Edge 5G is said to be the world's first dedicated 5G gaming device. This handheld will have access to thousands of games at your fingertips. Those games can be accessed in a variety of ways including Android games and pre-installed launchers such as Epic Games along with cloud streaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now.

The Razer Edge packs a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2400x1080 FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Razer claims that's 87% more pixels than the competition. The Logitech G Gaming Handheld has a 7-inch 1920 x 1080p panel for comparison's sake.

It's crafted using Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 Gaming Platform and boasts a 3GHz octa-core Kryo CPU with an Adreno GPU.

With 5G capabilities, this handheld will allow you to play games locally or on the go. As well as the cloud services, you can also stream them from your PC via services like Steam Link, Moonlight and Parsec.

Though touted as the world's first 5G handled, the Razer Edge is available in both Wi-Fi and Verizon 5G models. It's initially only available in the US though with the Wi-Fi version being priced at $399.99 directly from Razer and the Razer Edge 5G being exclusive to Verizon with pricing to be confirmed.
