As is now the norm, Nintendo did not holding a press conference at E3 2019 as such, but its Nintendo Direct presentation was packed full of new Nintendo Switch games coming up for the rest of 2019 and beyond.

You can watch the Nintendo Direct on demand, if you missed it first time around.

Nintendo at E3 2019: The games

We'll bring you all best Switch game trailers when available. In the meantime, here's a quick-fire round-up of all the games Nintendo showed or announced during its Direct presentation.

Among them, you'll see Luigi's Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition, Pokemon Sword and Shield (of course), plus many more.

The biggest game to have appeared in the broadcast, however, is undoubtedly the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

We don't yet know the official name. Nor do we know when it is coming, but we don't care. This is possibly the most exciting news of E3 so far. Amazing.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The first dedicated Animal Crossing game for Nintendo Switch has been sadly delayed "to ensure that the game is the best it can be". You will now have to wait until 20 March 2020 to play it. Should be worth it though.
