Lian Li Unifans
RGB fans seem like a great way to add lighting to your PC case and they might well be the most obvious option.
However, adding RGB fans into your case can quickly get complicated. Usually each fan has two cables - one for the power and one for RGB lighting control. If you have 10 fans in your case, that means you have 20 cables to then manage and plug in somewhere.
Lian Li's Unifans are different. They're far easier to connect up as they use a clever daisy chaining system whereby you can connect upto four fans together with a simple clip system. Then there's only one set of two cables per group of fans.
There's a little controller with each triple pack. That controller powers both the fans and the RGB lighting for upto 16 fans in total.
This system makes Lian Li fans our favourite to use and the easiest to install.

Lian Li Strimer RGB power cables
If adding RGB fans, lighting strips and other things to your PC case seems a bit intimidating, but you still want something that looks awesome then this might be an option.
Lian Li offers a number of RGB power supply cables. These are essentially extension leads for essential power connections for your motherboard and graphics card.
These clip onto the standard PSU cables, then connect to your components. You then have some snazzy RGB effects that are relatively easy to install.
Corsair Lighting Accent Panels
If RGB fans are a little bit gaudy then how about these nifty little lighting panels? Corsair's iCue LC100 case accent panels are essentially tiny Nanoleaf-like lights for inside your PC.
They're magnetic, so they're ideal for any exposed and currently boring metal parts of your case. Naturally you can't put magnets next to components that they might damage, but you can make your case a little more interesting.
Each panel has nine diffused RGB LEDs and the panels can be expanded upto a maximum of 18 panels as well. Better still, the design means you can also create 3D shapes in your case to make it really interesting.

Even if you don't add any RGB fans, as we have, you've still got some eye-catching lighting as the foundation of your PC. Plus it has the necessary controllers already pre-installed so it's easy to set up too.
