Sonos has announced the Sonos Architectural by Sonance speakers, which have been designed and optimised for the Sonos Amp that will be available to pre-order in Europe from 5 February.

The speakers include Sonos In-Wall by Sonance, Sonos In-Ceiling by Sonance and Sonos Outdoor by Sonance, with the In-Wall and In-Ceiling also available to pre-order from February. The Sonos Outdoor by Sonance speakers will be available in April.

Both the In-Wall and In-Ceiling speakers are compatible with Sonos Trueplay tuning software when partnered with the Sonos Amp and they can also be combined with other Sonos speakers, such as Sonos One for surrounds and the Sonos Sub. The grilles of the In-Wall speakers are the same as the Sonos One and they are finished in the same white too, allowing for a unified look.

The Outdoor speaker has a weatherproof design and it is engineered to withstand a variety of environmental conditions. It is not Trueplay compatible however.

The Sonos Amp was first revealed in August 2018. It offers 125-watts per channel and it will integrate with your TV through a HDMI ARC connection, like the Sonos Beam. It also offers AirPlay 2 compatibility, meaning you can control speakers connected to the Amp through Siri, and it also has a Dual Mono feature allowing you opt to have both connected speakers producing the same sound rather than stereo sound.

The Sonos Amp allows for up to three pairs of Sonos Architectural by Sonance speakers powered by a single amp.

The Sonos Amp will go on sale from 12 February for £599, with pre-orders starting from 5 February. The Sonos In-Wall by Sonance speakers and the In-Ceiling by Sonance speakers will cost €699 per pair. The Sonos Outdoor by Sonance speakers will cost €899 for the pair.
