Pure has launched the Siesta, a stylish DAB and FM clock radio that they claim looks good, sounds great and has significantly reduced environmental impact too.

The Siesta boasts a large auto-dimming display and an easy-to-find snooze button.

There are three independent alarm settings so you can choose to wake to a tone, DAB or FM, and set different alarm times for weekdays and weekends.

Its Intellitext feature means you can browse extra broadcast text from participating stations and pause and control scrolling text with TextSCAN.

The green bits come in with standby power consumption of less than 1W, packaging made from a minimum of 70% recycled material, finished with water based varnish, and documentation printed with soya-based ink on 100% recycled paper.

Available in black, charcoal or silver the Siesta is £49.99.
