Pure Digital is launching three digital radios that are all new incarnations of previous models: The Evoke-1XT Marshall Edition, Legato II, and Elan DX40.

The Evoke-1XT Marshall Edition is a DAB radio the combines the styling of Marshall Amplification with the formfactor of the Evoke. It’s wrapped in black vinyl, features a solid wood construction, brass-effect control panel and a black metallic speaker grill. A display with red on black adds to the goth effect, and the volume dial goes up to 11.

Features include an integrated full-range Hi-Fi speaker, a bass reflect port for enhanced bass, 3-inch drive units, and active filters. The special edition radio costs £100.

Next up is the Legato II, a “luxury” DAB micro system that will retail for £350. It adds to the Legato’s legacy with an electronic programme guide (EPG), recording from DAB radio, Intellitext display, ReVu, and audio enhancements. It’s available in cherry, maple, or piano black with matching speakers that deliver 30W RMS per channel.

Finally, the Elan DX40 is a lightweight and portable radio that now holds completely new internal electronics, and replaces the original Elan. The silver radio now features textSCAN, Intellitext, RDS, USB upgradeability, and support for a rechargeable battery pack.
