Samsung will reveal the Galaxy S10 devices at its Unpacked event on 20 February, but a successor to the Gear Sport smartwatch is also expected to be announced.

The smartwatch, expected to be called Galaxy Sport, has previously been spotted on several certification sites, including the FCC in the US, NCC in Taiwan and the NRRA in South Korea, but now a new render has appeared offering a clearer look at its design.

The latest render of the Galaxy Sport appeared on 91 Mobiles and it is claimed to have been received by a reliable source. It presents the same design @OnLeaks suggested in previous renders of the device but in silver rather than black, highlighting a little more detail.

Based on the renders, the Galaxy Sport will come with a circular dial with two function buttons on the right. It looks like the buckle on the strap will be finished in the same brushed metal as the casing of the watch, while a silicone strap will give the device a sportier look compared to the Galaxy Watch.

Details are still thin on the ground as to what we can expect in terms of the Galaxy Sport's internal specifications, though it is claimed to be coming with 4GB of internal storage and it will no doubt run on Samsung's Tizen platform.

More is expected to be revealed on 20 February at the Samsung Unpacked event where it is rumoured we will see a trio of S10 devices, alongside Samsung's foldable phone and the Galaxy Sport smartwatch.
