D-Link has brought out a wireless internet camera that streams directly to a 3G mobile phone or PDA.
The DSC-2120 is ideally suited for home or small-office use as a surveillance camera, and gives peace-of-mind to users as it lets them remotely view live video and hear sound on their 3G device.
The camera comes complete with CPU and web server, and features a low-light sensitive lens that can video inside during the night-time.
Up to 16 cameras can be viewed and controlled on the PC, while a 4x digital zoom lets users get a closer view of what's going on inside the office.
Images can be recorded as snapshots at timed intervals and stored on a hard drive, while email alerts notify users when motion is detected during certain user-defined time periods.
The DCS-2120 is available in July with a price of around £180.
