Sony regularly hosts State of Play online events to show off the latest gameplay trailers for PS5 and PS4, and there's another one coming later today.

On 14 September we're getting another dose of trailers and news relating to third-party releases coming to PlayStation 5 soon. Find out all the details here.

When is the PlayStation State of Play?

The PlayStation State of Play stream is being held on 14 September 2023. Here are the times for different regions:

  • US West Coast: 14:00 PT
  • US East Coast: 17:00 ET
  • UK: 22:00 BST

How to watch the PlayStation State of Play stream

PlayStation left it quite late to announce this State of Play, but that means there hasn't been a wait to get access to its YouTube URL - we've embedded the live stream at the top of this page, so you can just click the play icon to get started when the time comes.

What to expect from the PlayStation State of Play

Sony has given us a broad idea of what to expect from this State of Play - principally, it won't be full up with first-party games or major announcements.

Instead, it'll be more focused on indie games and third-party titles coming down the pike. We think that could mean a launch trailer for Alan Wake 2, for instance, but we'll also go to our grave wishing for news about Hollow Knight: Silksong at any point.
