ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G review: Seriously good value

A big sell is the 144Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals on the 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It's large but comfortable to hold thanks to its 20:9 aspect ratio too. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
However, there's no headline-grabbing under-display front-facing camera here -- as there was in the earlier Axon 20 5G -- instead it's a standard punch-hole. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
The battery will get through a day, but with all that power and high-end features activated it can be a bit of a stretch. Fast-charging is available though. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
Available in black (pictured), white, bue, or light brown finishes, this ZTE brings a soft-touch finish to help avoid fingerprints. It does a good job. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
Four rear cameras -- three of which are 64-megapixels - lead the charge. The main lens is decent, but the others we found mixed in their ability. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
The Axon 30 Ultra is well priced, but software notification issues are irritating. Still, for $750 for a Qualcomm SD888 device most people will let that slide. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
