Samsung Galaxy S22+ review: Finding that flagship sweet spot?

The S22+ looks like the S21+ from before, except this time it's ever so slightly smaller, with a reduction in screen size, dimensions and battery. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
The cameras also receive an update, pushing a 50-megapixel sensor into the main camera, while the wide-angle and 3x zoom are 12MP and 10MP respectively. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
The rear is glass with a soft-touch finish -- different to the 'glasstic' plastic of the last generation models -- and feels high quality. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
The 6.6in AMOLED display is bright, sharp and punchy. It's got no curved edge like the 6.8in Ultra, so is more practical in our view. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
With its sensible proportions we think the Plus finds the S22's sweet spot -- it's bigger than the entry model but without the unnecessary S Pen of the Ultra. (image credit: Pocket-lint)
