Vodafone has confirmed that EE's exclusive run with the Nokia Lumia 920 has come to an end, as it will be stocking the flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the new year.

"Already confirmed as heading to Vodafone in the new year are the Nokia Lumia 820, the HTC 8X and HTC 8S," says the mobile phone operator. "They’re a stunning set of Windows Phone 8 handsets, but one more can’t hurt, can it? With that in mind, we’re donning the party hats early in light of the news that we’ll also be stocking the Nokia Lumia 920."

Vodafone states that four of the current five Windows Phone 8 phones available in the UK will arrive in the early stages of next year, but doesn’t go as far as saying exactly when that will be.

Announced in September, the Nokia Lumia 920 sports a 4.5-inch screen, runs Windows Phone 8, and features a PureView camera sensor that promises, and delivers, amazing low-light photos.
