Vodafone has announced that it too will be selling the HTC Desire S to those keen to get their hands on the new smartphone.

Available in black on Pay Monthly tariffs, the great-value HTC Desire S is free on £30-a-month price plans with Vodafone, £5 cheaper than Orange.

The Desire S, as you’ll probably already know, is the follow up to the HTC Desire and brings with it a slimmer body, a 3.7-inch display, 1.1GB of memory with space for a 8GB MicroSD card and a VGA front-facing camera.

That £30 a month will give you 600 minutes, unlimited text messages and 500MB of data a month for 24 months.

Those happy to stump up £99 up front will get it for £25 a month with 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of data over 24 months, showing that Vodafone sees the Desire S in the same bracket as the HTC Legend when it first launched.

Of course if you’re looking for something a lot more powerful, you might want to wait until Tuesday when HTC announces the HTC Sensation, however it’s not confirmed whether or not that smartphone will be coming to Vodafone.

Those that want the HTC Desire S can get it now.
