3GSM 2006: Sony continues music theme with Stereo Bluetooth Headset
Sony Ericsson announced a new music accessory, the Stereo Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS970 at 3GSM in Barcelona, Spain.
The Stereo Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS970 connects wirelessly to a mobile phone, streaming digital music via Bluetooth 2.0.
Available from Q2 2006, the unit will weigh 27 grams, come in black with gray, silver and orange detail and offer a talk time of up to 6 hours with a standby time of up to 300 hours.
Those hoping to use it for music should, according to Sony Ericsson get up to 6 hours from the battery.
Additionally the HBH-DS970 also offers multipoint connection enabling users to listen to the music files from a computer, PDA or other Bluetooth devices while remaining connected to their mobile phone, staying available for every call.
Strangely the headset is completely devoid of wires and comes with a central display that offers information on calls and music as well as offers quick access to handles calls, chooses music or adjusts the volume.
