Sony Ericsson has also announced the launch of a FM Music Transmitter, the MMR-60 that will allow you to listen to the music on your phone on a car or home radio.
The unit can be attached to any Sony Ericsson mobile phone and then transmit music files from the handset over the FM radio frequency band. This means that you can now to listen to favourite MP3/AAC tracks from your mobile, through any radio receivers within range.
Menus in the mobile phone allow you to control the transmitting frequency at a range of up to 10 meters.
Available in limited markets during December 2005, the MMR-60 will be released according to the legal requirements of each country.
This currently includes USA, South America, Australia and some countries in Asia.
There is no word as yet to the availability in the UK.

The company also announced a new jointly developed Home Audio System with Sony that enables owners of Sony Ericsson Walkman music phones to enjoy their mobile music collections in full Hi-Fi sound quality. The Home Audio System MDS-70 is a phone cradle which connects to a set of speakers, so the user can nest the phone in the cradle, press Play and enjoy the music.
