Samsung has announced the E720 its small (only 90g and 91x45x23.3mm ) clamshell equivalent to the popular D500 that features an MP3 player with external hot keys providing easy and instant access to your favourite tracks.
The Samsung E720 is based on the award winning design of the Samsung E700, the UK's best selling camera handset in 2004 last year and Samsung's best selling handset to date.
The MP3 player can also play AAC and AAC+ audio files used in iTunes and comes with 88.5Mb of built in memory to store around 30 tracks. The external hot keys allow users to play, rewind or fast forward or to move to the next or previous stored files just all at the press of a button.
Samsung is keen to point out that the E720 isn't a one trick pony and it also offers a one megapixel camera with effects, frames, timer options, flash and 4x zoom.
Bluetooth, Tri-band and a 260K TFT screen are also present on the model.
