A picture and details of what is believed to be one of the phones due for announcement by Samsung later today have leaked online.
US tech site The Verge reports that its sources as saying that a 4.8-inch Windows Phone 8 smartphone, called the Samsung ATIV S, will be unveiled during the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin, Germany, this evening.
The sources " familiar with the company's plans" claim that it will sport a HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera on the rear and 1.9-megapixel camera on the front.
It's unknown at present what ATIV stands for (if anything), but it's believed that this will be the first in a similarly named range of handsets.
Samsung is also expected to launch the follow-up to the Galaxy Note, which many believe to be called (unsurprisingly) the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
