The Samsung Focus 2 looks to undercut the Windows Phone competition with its AT&T $49.99/month contract deal.

Samsung’s first 4G LTE Windows Phone promises super-fast speeds wrapped up in a slender body. The model is just shy of 11cm long, weighs an ultra-light 121g and comes dressed in a white finish. Very sleek.

A 4-inch Super AMOLED screen and 5-megapixel rear camera make composing and shooting images or 720p HD movie clips a breeze. There’s also a front-facing VGA (640x480) camera that’s ideal for face-to-face video chat.

The first details were released at this year’s International CTIA Wireless show in New Orleans, Louisiana, with the full Focus 2 specification still to be announced. That’s why, for now at least, there’s no information about the phone's processor, but based on the low price package deal we suspect that it’ll be a conservative job.

Available 20 May, check out AT&T’s website for further pricing and package information.
