It's a Windows Phone 7 whirlwind on Pocket-lint at the moment, despite the fact that the official launch still has yet to take place, and it doesn't look like letting up anytime soon.

First up, LG (accidentally) went live with its Optimus 7 handset, and now the official launch pictures for Samsung's WP7 effort, the Omnia 7, have emerged along with some juicy spec details.

The Samsung Omnia 7 (model number GT-I8700) has a a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 processor and has HSPA, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11n connectivity.

It has a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with and LED flash, is capable of 720p HD video recording, which can be stored on the 8GB of built-in storage. It's also got FM Radio with RDS, A-GPS and 1500mAh battery.
