Nokia has admitted that some models of its new 5800 Comes with Music handset are shipping in the US with connection issues.
"We have learned that some Nokia 5800 XpressMusic devices are having issues with 3G performance", a spokesperson for the company told Pocket-lint.
The phone has just gone on sale in the US although reports online are suggesting it has already been pulled from two flagship stores.
Nokia has told Pocket-lint that UK customers needn't worry about the issues being experienced Stateside:
"This is a very isolated problem concerning only the North American market and is not specific to any other region or country".
Nokia says that it is currently investigating the matter further to find a quick remedy to the situation, but still says that existing customers of the 5800 XpressMusic who experience 3G signal issues with the device are advised to contact Nokia Customer Care just in case.
